Our History with Schools

In 1949, Mr. Piatek, a principal at Nathan Hale Elementary School in Whiting, IN, gave Mr. Lovasko Sr. the first opportunity to take Professional school photographs. Black and White photography was the only option at that time. Photography has changed and with the digital age our studio is in the forefront of School Image Business. In the early 1980′s, Memory Makers, Inc. presented the City of Whiting Police Department with a CD of students from the school images for “Child Find”, a National Company for use in Emergency Situations.

Now Memory Makers is proud to provide identification cards, as well as, a CD to the schools to use for school records. Memory Makers School Division can photograph 1500 students per day with its multi-set ups. Although times have changed since 1949, one thing remains the same, you will receive “Beautiful School Photos,” that you will be proud to display in your home. We look forward to photographing your students.
